Vettel takes pole as RBR lock out the front row at Suzuka

Sebastian Vettel claimed pole position at the rescheduled qualifying session of the Japanese Grand Prix. His teammate Mark Webber starts from P2.

Lewis Hamilton qualified 3rd, but will have to start from P8 due to his five-place grid penalty after McLaren had to change his gearbox on Saturday.

Robert Kubica starts from P3 instead, followed by Fernando Alonso, then Jenson Button.
