How do they build those things so fast? I mean do they these huge motor homes for every race?

I can't imagine back to back races where they only have a couple of days to spare (including air travel) and by the third day, motor home should be there.

Here's Ferrari's bnew motor home

sakto, i just read about this. F1 Badger has an article on motor homes, which also includes photos of the other motor homes, as well as a video showing how it's built. madali lang gawin yan, pre-fab naman kasi eh. it would take just about a day or two to assemble those things.

^yup, read about it in F1 Racing mag sometime last year which featured the Red Bull/STR motor homes. madali lang gawin kasi may step by step process din sa assembly. madali din ang pag dismantle.

i remember the article referring to the back-to-back race from Spa to Monza last year. pag katapos na pagkatapos lang ng podium ceremony, may nagbabaklas na ng parts nung motorhome so by monday morning, ready for trucking na siya to italy.

afaik, they only bring the motorhomes to european races because of logistics issues.

No wonder Ferrari is against the budget cap. They need the money to pay off this baby. Bounce

Just kidding. Motorhomes dont't come under the budget cap as it falls under marketing expenses, right?

That Ferrari motorhome actually looks quaint compared to that of the Red Bull or McLaren!

^It's what they call the "Energy Station - Lite". Looking forward to seeing the "three-storey, one swimming pool, two lounge deck Energy Station" in Monaco.

Speaking of three storeys, Ferrari's also has three floors na raw. Pabonggahan pala 'to eh. Who says F1 is on a budget?

Among the new teams, the nicest is Virgin's. Here's a photo at dusk, courtesy of the Glockdog:
